Come Shoot & Win Free Prizes At Capitol State Forest On Sunday, March 30th, 2025
The Washington State Gun Games will be hosted at the Capitol State Forest from 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Sunday, March 30th, 2025. This is a free event but you must register online by March 23rd if you want to participate. There are only 100 spots available.
Stages
There are a total of 3 stages. You can choose to run each stage with either a pistol or rifle, and have the option to switch between pistol and rifle before each stage.
1. Bullseye. Hit the center of the target. Shoot 1 round at 10 yards with a pistol, or 1 round at 25 yards with a rifle, your choice.
2. Rapid Fire. Hit the A-Zone of the target as many times as possible within 5 seconds. Shoot from a distance of 10 yards with a pistol, or 25 yards with a rifle, your choice.
3. Move & Shoot. Hit as many targets in the A-Zone as possible while moving from cover to cover. Shoot from a distance of 10 yards with a pistol, or 25 yards with a rifle, your choice.
Prizes
The following prizes will be given out at the end of the competition. The better you shoot, the more prizes you get.
Night Vision Monocular (AGM Global Vision PVS-14). 1 available for the best shooter.
Thermal Digital Reflex Sights (Holosun DRS-TH). 5 available for the top 5 best shooters.
Ammo (Federal 9mm & 5.56). 1,000 rounds each for the top 10 best shooters.
Lights (Surefire x300 Ultra). 20 available for the top 20 best shooters.
Ears (AXIL XCOR PRO). 100 available for everyone who participates.
Requirements
18+. You must be 18 years or older to participate.
Waiver. You must sign a waiver before you participate.
Firearms. You can bring pistols and/or rifles of any caliber.
Ammunition. You should bring a minimum of 100 rounds of ammo.
Ear Protection. You must bring ear protection and wear it throughout the entire event.
Eye Protection. You must bring eye protection and wear it throughout the entire event.
Location
The competition will take place at the Triangle Pit in Capitol State Forest (11036 Waddell Creek Rd SW, Olympia, WA 98512). We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes early to check-in, complete the safety check, and get your gear set up for the competition.
